How It Works
Six steps from "I need a car" to keys in hand.
Here's exactly what happens when you work with True Path, what we need from you, and what you can expect at every stage.
Tell Us What You Need
We start with a conversation about the vehicle you want, how you'll use it, your budget, and your timeline. If you already have a quote from a dealership, bring it.
You'll need: a rough budget, preferred models, and your timeline.
Understand Your Options
We walk through cash vs. financing, how your credit range affects rates, what a realistic down payment looks like, and how a trade-in or loan payoff changes the math.
You'll need: your self-reported credit range and trade-in details, if any. We don't pull your credit.
Explore Dealership Options
We research matching vehicles through available inventory and our dealership relationships, then narrow the list with you.
Review the Numbers
We look at the full picture: selling price, dealer fees, Florida sales tax and county surtax, tag and title, financing terms, and optional products. Then we compare options on total cost, not monthly payment alone.
Confirm the Deal in Writing
Before you go in for delivery, we seek a completed Broker Buyer Package from the dealership. It records:
- The out-the-door price
- Each dealership fee, itemized
- Any optional products, disclosed and marked accepted or declined
- The vehicle's VIN and confirmed availability
- Agreed purchase conditions
- A dealer manager's signature or written confirmation
Buy With Confidence
You visit the dealership knowing what was agreed. Review the final buyer's order and any financing contract carefully before you sign. If something doesn't match the package, stop and call us.
What the Broker Buyer Package is, and what it isn't
It's written confirmation of the terms the dealership agreed to, so everyone starts delivery day with the same expectations. It is not a sales contract and it doesn't guarantee the outcome of the transaction. The dealership's final documents and any financing contract are what you actually sign, which is why we help you compare them line by line.
Questions
Frequently asked
Do you sell cars?
No. We don't own inventory. You buy the vehicle from a licensed dealership. We help you find it, understand the numbers, and get the terms confirmed before you sign.
How does True Path get paid?
[Explain plainly how True Path is compensated: a flat buyer fee, a fee paid by the dealership, or both, and when it's due. If a dealership pays any part of it, say so here.]
Will you run my credit?
No. Our consultation and pre-qualification form don't involve a credit check. If you choose to finance, a lender or dealership will check your credit only after you give them consent.
Can you guarantee financing or the lowest price?
No one honestly can. Lenders make their own approval decisions, and prices change with inventory. What we can do is help you understand where you stand, compare real offers, and spot fees that don't belong.
I already have a quote from a dealer. Can you look at it?
Yes. Book a Dealer Quote Review and send us the buyer's order or worksheet. We'll go through it line by line with you.
Do I still go to the dealership?
Yes, for the final paperwork and delivery. The goal is that by then, there's very little left to negotiate.
Can we work in Haitian Creole?
Yes. Wi, nou pale Kreyòl. Choose Kreyòl as your preferred language when you book or fill out the form.
